Is it possible to burn shows from your DVR system to a DVD?

My DVR is getting full and I don't want to delete some of the shows/movies, how do you or can you burn them onto a DVD?

Absolutely! I just bought a DVD recorder the other day for the same reason. I just burned "Gridiron Gang" onto a DVD off my DVR that I recorded from Encore. I just got a Toshiba DVD recorder for $99, hooked up to my DVR and tv and no problem.

Can you maybe attach it to a DVD recorder or a computer?

I use a computer with a tuner as my TV/DVR, all I have to do is select the "Burn to DVD" option. I don't know how a regular DVR would manage to it.
