Is it possible to buy 30-day transit passes at the DSB ticket office in Copenhagen airport?

I know it's possible to buy "klippecorts" at the airport but since we are staying for two weeks, a 30-day pass would be the best bargain. We're not sure if they are available at the airport, or if we'll have to go to the train station in central Copenhagen to get them. Also, we need to have passport photos for these 30-day passes, right?

  1. A 30-day pass isn't much of a bargain if you are only there for two weeks. You'll have much more fun, and see much more, if you rent bikes instead. You can get a really good deal on bikes at this place: http://traveljapanblog.com/wordpress/200...

For only two weeks it will probably be cheaper than a 30-day pass.

  2. Yes, and yes.  I've checked all over DSB's site for you.  If it's a staffed station--which the airport ticket office is--then you can get a pendlerkort (commuter, ie 30 day card). You will need a small photo like the ones you can get in an automatic photobooth.

Cph. is a wonderful city for bicycling, with dedicated bike lanes adjacent to most major roadways, and motorists who respect cyclists on the road (so it's fairly safe).  However, as a bicycler in Cph., it would really depend on where I was staying, and where I would need to travel most days.  Also keep in mind that fall weather in Cph. can be very wet, but if you don't mind biking in the rain, or if you'll be staying close in with very easy bike commutes, then maybe it makes sense for you.
