Is it possible to buy a LG VOYAGER [from verizon wireless] without a plan?

you are allowed to buy any phone from any company without a plan whatsoever.  By law (unless they are low on stock) you have that right.  HOWEVER, the price for these phones are astronomical.  For instance, an LG Shine without a contract is around $459.99. I believe the LG Voyager is $429.99 without a contract.
