Is it possible to buy a Orange Carte in PARIS on Thursday?

I am coming to Paris the 21th August.It's Thursday and I'll stay there until Sunday.

What you need to do is buy a Mobilis, the one day travel pass for any day you will be using public transport often enough to justify buying a pass rather than using individual tickets.

A Mobilis will cost you 5,80 euros. Buying tickets in a carnet of 10 will cost 11.40 euros or 1.14 euros per ticket.

The weekly Carte Orange is valid from Monday to sunday, it is sold until Wednesday. It is already sold on Fridays (for the following week).

The monthly Carte Orange is valid from 1st till 31th, it is sold until the 19th of the months.

The real answer to your question is: YES, but the only Orange Card you can buy on Thursday 21th August is the September card!

I would recommend you to use the "Paris Visite" card, which allows you unlimited travelling like the Carte Orange. This card is available for 1, 2, 3 or 5 days. You can choose between Zones 1 to 3 (Paris and nearest surroundings) and Zones 1 to 6 (include the airports, Disneyland, Versailles). Furthermore, this cards gives you reduced fares in some museum and tourist places.

The costs (€) are the following:

You could also buy a bunch of single trip tickets (T+ tickets). 10 Tickets cost €11.40. Each ticket allows either (a) RER (only inside Paris) and metro (even outside Paris) trip or (b) bus and tramway trip whithin 90 minutes. This solution may be the priceworthiest one for you.

My information is that Carte Orange has been discontinued and replaced by Navigo.  Even if the C.O. is still being sold, it is only sold Monday through Wednesday.  Navigo, on the other hand, is available any day of the week.
