If yes, could you give me a link for that property? A house or a flat would be ok, as long as i could view it, it would be great. Thanks

  1. You could probably get a decent garden shed for that. My brother has a 2-bed flat in Queen's Park he's selling for half a million if you're interested? That's about the going rate, I believe.

  2. I doubt it, but as someone said try http://www.rightmove.co.uk

  3. no you may be able to get a cardboard box in a land drain if you are lucky

come up north you will get something decent and be able to breathe fresh air

  4. http://www.rightmove.co.uk/action/public...

I had a look on here and there were some nice 2 bed apartments.

  5. Pitt =

SEM  DUVIDA  ALGUMA, Em Londres, Paris, Bahia, Rio de Janeiro , é só escolher, O mundo

    Boa sorte   tks

  6. Depends how close in you want to be - the choice will be pretty limited and may be something like a studio flat if it is a half decent location.

Try this http://www.hotproperty.co.uk/sales/prope... (ignore the commercial properties). Some are ex- local authority properties so you would need to work out what the service charges are like.

Look for properties that are prieced higher than this - and put in an offer. With things as they are this is a buyer's market. I've known people go in 20% below and have it accepted.

  7. yes i think so - not only in disasterous areas... i would check the following link.... http://www.auction.co.uk/default.asp?Auc... plenty of places - stick to vacant posession only and long leases (just my opinion - lease below 70 yrs is generally deemed unmortgageable) Saw studio in NW6 - on cavendish Road...down the road from trendy west hampstead - near kilburn tube station - nice period detatched house...by order for sale by paddington churches housing association...125-135k guide price at an auction held last month...it didnt shift...they might take a stink bid...(FYI i got no interest in either the  property or the company by the way - i just watch whats going on using different sources from the ones mentioned by other people previously as i find the prices on those sites to be waaay outa date - that has particular reference to flats that would appear overpriced in the worse parts of town)...plus plenty of other stuff around...of course be careful and always do you own research, find out the service charges etc. Gotta get a good conveyencing solicitor on board...but that must be easy nowadays that no transactions are really taking place...they must be cheaper now too....if you got cash much easier to bargain...offer quick turnaround etc....ive never bought anything in auction...but stuff that didnt sell in auction...seller might be dissappointed and might take a lowball offer. best of luck and take your time...

  8. I live in Deptford which is one of the cheapest parts of London - if not THE cheapest - and you might, just, get a studio in a really c**p condition there.  But you'd be lucky.

You certainly wouldn't get anything bigger than a studio, and you really will be limited to the areas where you need a bulletproof vest - i.e. Deptford, Thamesmead, etc.

Crosbie - who would pay half a million to live in Queen's Park?  You could get a 2-bed, or even bigger, in a good area for that.  You could have a year ago, never mind now that prices have dropped considerably.
