Question:

Is it possible to cancel my phone and internet contract?

I was persuaded last December 07, to change my internet and phone service to Tiscali, with promises that they would save me quite a lot of money. Over time, in fact it works out more expensive, around £30 more than what I was paying before. Its come to the stage as i am on a very small part time wage, that I am struggling to pay the charges each month. I am 6 months through the contract, would it be possible to cancel, due to my financial situation and the fact that its working out more expensive?

  1. you would probably have to pay a cancellation penalty

  2. They will charge you a penalty for cancellation, but if you short on money, maybe better to pay small penalty and not be responsible for a monthly bill. You should call them and ask how much is a penalty for cancellation, and tell them that you are not happy with there service and charges, you are not getting what you been promise, maybe they will wave the charges. But before you do this shop for another service, be sure there are not more expensive.

    Good Luck!
