  2. It could be possible, but not knowing the extent of the injuries, it might not be likely.

However, you have a right to access to all of your medical records, and a right to know what happened during your last c-section. If the doctor who did the c-section won't tell you, I'd contact a lawyer, because there is no excuse for that, and that would be a good sign of malpractice.

I hope the best for you, and you should know ahead of time that if you get pregnant, it could be a long, hard road - likely with a lot of bed rest and monitoring - but it's possible, and I hope you get your wish. :)

  3. I'm sorry this happened to you.  It's impossible to tell you without knowing the exact nature of your injury.  There are women who carry a baby even with a septum  and other issues which can cut the uterus to half the size.  I would say then it's more likely that your problem would be getting pregnant or with complications during delivery.  Damaged areas of your uterus would make it harder for an embryo to implant and if the growing placenta attached to any part that was damaged it could attach over the cervix,  too deeply or even thru the uterus and onto other organs.  (placenta previra preccreta and accreta) which makes delivery very dangerous and can be life threatening.

You have a right to a copy of your medical records and to know exactly what that Dr did.  If your Dr doesn’t want to explain in detail you should at least insist that he give you an overview.  If he still hesitates tell him that you want a copy of all of your medical records and you will read it for yourself.  They can not refuse to give it to you, but they can ask for a reasonable copy fee.  I’d also talk to an attorney.  But you can’t really do that until you know the extent of what was done wrong.

I wish I could say that it will be fine.  It sucks that you Dr wouldn't tell you exactly what you are dealing with.  Hopefully it wan't be as bad as you fear.  Patti
