Is it possible to change a sleeping schedule in two days?

All summer I've stayed up usually until 3 or 4 in the morning, sometimes earlier, sometimes later, and will wake up anywhere from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. I go back to school Thursday, and I usually go to sleep about 11 at night and have to wake up about 5:30 in the morning. I'm so used to staying up late that if I try to go to bed early, I'll just lay in bed till 2 or 3 in the morning and finally fall asleep. I'll have an alarm clock to wake me up, but I need to get back in the habit of going to bed earlier. How can I change this as fast as I can?

  1. Unfortunately i have the same problem, my suggestions are wake up early for the next two days and dont sleep! go outside and get tired and then when its late like 11 or 10 ....go to sleep and then wake up early again im pretty sure it'll work...i hope it does because thats my plan xD

  2. Wake up as early as you need to when you go to school, then go to bed at the earlier time.It will change quickly if you stick with the new schedule.

  3. im doing the same thing and honestly the best thing is to stay up completely for a day and then at the desired time the next day go to bed. youll be tired and will fall asleep fast and with your alarm clock to wake you up you will change the habit. i have done this and it worked in one day.

    hope this helps!
