Is it possible to change one's race on the IC?

I know that names can be changed with a lawyer's letter, but what if someone wants to change their race on the IC? Is that legally allowed in Singapore?

No.Only names can be changed.Race is not possible!

I think it was possible in the past. My uncle who is indian n looks very much like Michael Jackson (before) is Malay. The reason was my grandfather wanted free education, but a couple of years ago, he changed it back to Indian. I am sure you can check it out at ICA or something.

Impossible , you can't change your race from chinese to indian or vice versa , only name or s*x change allowed.
