Is it possible to change the address in driving licence?

im in a need of address proof urgently to apply my passport ,i have taken my driving licence in hyderabad is it possible to change my address?im staying in kerala now,if so whts the procedure? or should i apply for new ?

Yes.  You have to prove that you are staying in the state of Kerala, with material evidence to the RTO and make an application for the change of address.  The application will be scrutinized and you might even called for a query.  If the government officials feel that your application deserves action, the change of address will be amended in the driving license.

Do not apply for new driving license.  It is India driving license.  Just apply for the change of address with sufficient proof.  Please take care of the officers.

Yes it is very much possible, if u have taken it in Hyderabad, it'll be easier to get it done there, i mean the RTO in Hyd., coz ven u go to an RTO in kerala, they may ask you an NOC (No objection certificate) from Hyd RTO. Why dont u use something else as a proof of address for passport, like ur phone bill, or your house rental agreement, or electricity bill, anything, if u go to passport office, or the website, they have a full list of docs u may produce as proof of address.

Yes you can, all you need to do is go to the RTO office, prove that you are living in Kerela and there it is changed.... it might take a bit of money...
