Is it possible to check my eye?

I just realized that i was elegible for my vision insurance from the place that i work. I really need to check my eyes really bad, but the problem is i havent gotten my insurance card yet. So my question is, is it possible to go check my eye without my card eventho im already eligeble for this certain doctor that they told me to go to.
