  1. Yes, you can check your status by opening a Customer Account on www.uscis.gov.You click Case Status Online on their website and then register your account. You can receive email updates from them. You will be needing your case number to open a Customer Account.


  2. yes, if you have an application already on file with USCIS, just go to their web page with your A# or your receipt/application number.
