  1. Yes it is possible. However, you must qualify for contribution based JSA.

    Contribution -based JSA means that you have to have worked and paid enough national insurance contributions during the relevant tax years, which if you claim this year the contributions paid in tax years 2004/2005 and 2005/2006 are the relevant years.

    If you do not qualify for Contribution based benefit then you cannot claim JSA abroad.
