Is it possible to collect unemployment benefits and workers comp benefits at the same time?

I already recieve 150wkly workers comp can I also collect unemployment benefits a new law passed this July lengthening unemployment benefits i don't work haven't worked for almost 6 months

  2. No.  In order to collect unemployment benefits, you must be able to work.  In order to collect workers comp, you must be UNABLE to work.  

    They clash.

  3. Nope you can't collect both.  If your still on work comp and getting benefits because your injury you can't collect unemployment.

    The only time you can collect unemployment is when your doctor releases you back to "full duty w/o restrictions".  I'm assuming your on modified duties, but because you are on modified duties and you have no work, layoff, your modified duties are preventing you from getting a job else where, your injuries are keeping potential new jobs from hiring you.  Lots of companies will only hire people who can work.  They don't want to deal with work com people who have not been released back to work.
