Is it possible to connect a non phono device to a phono input?

I want to add my laptop as another input to my mixer, I don't have another line input...what can I do? I have two extra phono inputs but when I try I get the distortion...any help?

You need a line to phono converter.  You can make one from the link below (it describes only one channel -- you'll need two for stereo).

I've seen them somewhere before for sale, but I can't find them now.  Maybe you can spend some more time searching than I can...
