  1. Yes you can. All you need is a cable from the line out connection on your sound card (small headphone jack) into the line in / aux in input on your hi-fi amp (which needs standard phono connectors - red and white for left and right channels) You can get these cables pretty well anywhere for a few quid.

The comments above about windows media versions are nonsense - I did it years ago with an MS-DOS system!

P.S. i assume you mean stereo sound. You can also do it with surround sound if you have the correct multi-channel input amp, but obviously the cables will be different.

  2. use an (FM transmitter) i plug mine into my headphone socket on PC then tune the radio on my home theatre and it picks up the signal wireless.there about 15 pound from asda but i got mine off eBay for 4.99

  3. YEP really easy you just need a phono(RCA) to minijack cable, plug the stereo phono into the back of your hifi then mini jack into the speaker output on your pc

If you have 5.1 input on your HiFi (6 composite input) and 5.1 output on your pc then you can use 3 of the cables above.

You could also do it with opticial or coaxial cables if both your hifi and pc have the inputs and outputs

  4. If you have a wireless network then this is the baby to have.  It allows you to wirelessly stream all your tunes from your PC to your receiver.  It also has a nice big display where you can browse your tunes and create playlists.  It's about $100.

Update:  What idiot thumbs down me?  This is awesome product and allows me to play my 12,000 songs out by the pool wirelessly from my pc.

  5. Yes, just visit Radio Shack and pick up a cable to convert the speaker output to RCA stereo plugs.  Plug those into your receiver.

  6. IF YOU HAD--- WINDOWS MEDIA 2005---YOU WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEMS,OTHERWISE YOU MAY NEED TO CHANGE/UPRATE DRIVERS ETC.TO SAY THE LEAST.
