Question:

Is it possible to connect stereo speakers to your computer, and use a computer subwoofer ?

Ok i posted this question today and basicly the answer i got was, "need mroe info" so here goes.

What i want to do is connect my JCV stereo speakers, to my computer (witch ive already done via rca to 3.5mm Y-Plug)BUT i want to use my logitech z2300 subwoofer with it. Heres what i got

Computer: Its a 1 and a 1/2 year old computer i built.

the onboard audio is realtek AC97 with

* On board AC97 7.1 CH Audio CODEC

* Auto Jack Sensing, Jack Re-tasking functions

The Stereo Unit has 2 RCA Red/White Aux Jacks in the Back, along with the standard red/black wire for left/right speaker hookups.

Theres also a 3.5mm head phone jack if thats at all use full.
