  1. well, actually it is possible if you have a certain kind of vertigo.

    Google the Dix-Hallpike maneuver.

    I have had it work on a few people, but most just made it worse.

  2. no, it's not -- it's an inner ear thing; exercise has NOTHING to do with it.  You could take Dramamine, but it's the same ingredient as meclazine and you can ask the pharmacist for that and get 100 pills for less than the price of just EIGHT Dramamine!!  You can take two 25 mg. pills every 6-8 hours, I think.  It's the only thing that works for me.

  3. I regularly prescribe exercise for patients but cannot think of one that I would recommend for this condition.

    If a pateint presented to me with this symptoms i would likely treat it using Osteopathic Invoultary motion techniques or possibly working on the upper complex and investing connective tissue if the presentation was appropriate.

  4. Eat regularly & same size meals; better to eat 5-6 smaller meals, it evenly distributes body fluids throughout the day;

    Limit salt intake to 1000mg-1500mg or less/day.

    Avoid MSG it increases fluid retention

    Avoid caffeine, chocolate, tea, etc.  it makes symptoms worse especially makes ringing in ears louder.

    Stop smoking as it worsens symptoms

    Manage stress & anxiety which can trigger symptoms

    If you have difficulty with balance in between symptoms you can try vestibular rehabilitation therapy which include exercises you do in therapy & at home to retrain your brain to regain balance.

    Google:  mayo clinic>>diseases>>Meniere's Diseases

    Good luck
