  1. yes

  2.     You  often can influence your dreams by giving yourself pre-sleep suggestions. Another method of influencing dreams is called lucid dreaming, in which you are aware you are dreaming while still asleep and in the dream. Sometimes people experience this type of dreaming spontaneously. It is often possible to learn how to increase lucid dreaming, and thereby increase your capacity to affect the course of the dream events as they unfold. Some things are easier than others to control, and indeed complete control is probably never possible. Some professional dream workers question the advisability of trying to control the dream, and encourage learning to enjoy and understand it instead.

  3.    It is absolutely possible to control dreams! I control my dreams quite often. I can't do it always but I CAN do it. I have a recurring dream where I can jump and soar incredibly far distances. Across entire cities and mountain ranges! When I have this dream I am quite often able to 'grasp ahold' of it with my conscious mind and I can manipulate it and control it in whatever way I want. I can choose the city I am flying over or the landscape the weather, whatever!!! So, yes you can control your dreams.

  4. Controlling your dreams is NOT lucid dreaming, just to be clear on that

  5. somewhat...Often times dreams are about stuff you have been thinking about throughout the day or before you go to sleep. Dreams are based upon the thoughts in your head, so often what you dream about is stuff you think about. At least that seems to be the case for me.

  6. I would say no, but I think you can influence them ! hope this helps

  7. Their are two ways to go about doing this.

The first is setting the dream up before sleep, which is not lucid.

The second is actually having control of what is the dream itself as you are in it.

The first part in doing this is to realize that it is in fact a dream. This can be difficult. Their are a few ways of coming to to the realization that you are in a dream.

Click the light switches, if the light in the room doesn't change, the bulb is broke or your dreaming.

Try to jump off the ground and float, if gravity has no effect you are in a dream or just discovered you are really cool.

If you are in a dream and you are not yourself, but unsure try to find a mirror to see the real you.

Sometimes if you say to someone in your dream this is a dream they will automatically deny it and say it's not a dream, sometimes you can break free this way.

My question is , who is this person who denies that it's a dream, sometimes they look at me with such hate and tone of voice as they say to me no it's not. anger

  8. yes, its known as lucid dreaming.

I've always been able to do it so I'm not sure how you learn but I'd reccomend trying when you are drifting off to sleep and are half way between sleep and consiousness and you will hopefully get the hang of it after a few weeks.

  9. Yes, it's called lucid dreaming. It's when you are aware of your dreams and you decide what happens in them.
