Is it possible to control how much bandwidth is used in a wireless internet connection?

my sister is getting a laptop soon, and im the only one in the house with internet, i have a wireless router hooked up because of my xbox and computer, and i know shes going to **** up my connection when shes on, and im on my xbox or something. is there any way i can change how much bandwidth can be used on a wireless connection? like, she can only max out at a certain point?

  2. Yes, it is possible but you don't mention what kind of router you have.

    You can disable certain ports (as in for filesharing/P2P), limit the experience to webmail or general browsing.

    You could also try a program called IPCop http://www.ipcop.org/
