Is it possible to copy DVR recordings to DVD?

I have a Brighthouse Networks DVR and it is currently full of my daughter's favorite shows. We are going to be moving in a few weeks and will have to turn in the DVR. Is there any way to burn the recorded programs to a DVD?

  1. no. Due to copyright infringement, the DVRs are all locked down and/or the ports on the DVR are dummy ports and can not be transferred.
