Is it possible to copy a small section from the middle of a DVD?

Like 12 minutes of a 2 hour DVD made by a friend.

  1. You could go to freewarefiles.com and you you can type in the search box for it, and you will probably find a program on there that will let you do that.


  2. Yes, You can either borrow the raw material from your friend or you will have to rip the material from the DVD using a program then importing it into a different program to cut it down to the 12 minutes you want.  From there you can do with what you want with it.

  3. Do you want to rip it to hard disk? You may try Moyea dvd ripper for the conversion to mp4, and trim the video to be 10 minutes in the “Customize” window. To set the resolution, you can choose the chapter you want and click on “Settings” button. Choose 320x240 in the field for Video Size. Click “OK” to save the changes. Then click the big start button to convert the checked chapters or titles.

    You can just google or yahoo "Moyea DVD Ripper" to download the free trial version.
