Is it possible to copy your own blog?

Question

Can I copy & paste it or download it or anything? I'd like a copy of it because not long ago it disappeared. If it happened permanently I wouldn't be able to remember anything I wrote on it. Thanks.

You can do it.. but you have to save it in the type of file that will not lose the formatting needed to make it more than a text file on your computer..

If you have photos or graphics in the blog.. then you will need to save it in the html code.

lol.. now stay with me okay?

If you have Microsoft Office or are using Windows.. then you will have access to a Word Pad or a Note Pad.

Notepad can be found by going to your start up menu and choose All Programs.. Under the option ACCESSORIES..

Find it and then in your blog composer.. before you post it.. put a check in the box on the top of the composer that says HTML SOURCE.

It will change the blog to Html code.. them highlight it and copy it .. then paste it into your word pad or Notepad.. then from the toolbar on the word or notepad save your file as a rich text file.

When you want to put it into a blog.. put the check in the HTML SOURCE  option and paste the file into the composer

then uncheck the box.. your blog should appear like it was when you first composed it.

If you are just doing this to see if it posts then you don't even need to save it.. just minimize the note or word pad to to your task bar and it will be there if Yahoo decides to pull one of those trash can antics they are famous for these days.

You should ba able to copy the pages.I copy yahoo answer pages all the time to keep a refference about what everybodys said.

Sure you can!

If you want to have a separate file on your computer, than

just "copy, paste and save" your blog entries together with all comments on to a Microsoft word document.

Or if you find an interesting blog entry some where else, than copy and save that too.
