Question:

Is it possible to create a vacuum from a non airtight seal?

wouldnt a vacuum still be created, the vacuum is from venturi and is connected almost right next to the portion I need the vacuum to suck from, but its not airtight. I figured it would still work, just not as well as it could. Any help, suggections, advice, etc. Thanks.

  1. As long as you're pumping out more air than is getting in it would cause lower air pressure inside which would be considered a vacuum.


  2. The definition of vaccume is no air at all, so no, you cannot crate a vauume from a non air-tight.

    If you are talking about a vaccume cleaner (sweeper) then you need to have it repaired at a shop.
