the sun is an energy source and so is a battery...it exists, so doesn't that make it possible? can't humans makes something of equivalent power to the sun?

  1. We already have it.

It's called 'nuclear energy'; a process very similar to what the sun is doing.

  2. no not in a milloin years or so when the take pieces of the sun and put it in battieries

  3. Yes, theoretically

  4. u can store an immence amount of energy in a homemade lyden jar any questions email me @ fierro.nicholas@gmail.com

this thing is awesome u can store enough energy to match up to a taser

  5. The sun is a nuclear fusion reactor and is utterly massive. Nuclear fusion is by far more efficient than conventional batteries, and the sun being utterly massive compared to any amount of materials you could acquire on earth to make a battery means that this task would be relatively impossible for you.

  6. The sun is an energy source, but a battery is an energy STORAGE device

    They are different animals.

  7. No

But how much Volts are you talking about?

As much as the sun...... not unless we figure out cold fusion and make a battery with it.... Lets just say we are far from that kind of technology

You can make a battery last really long if you only use a small amount of its power(with current technology).

  8. A battery w/ a solar recharge source theoretically can last as long as the sun.....otherwise, there's NO created battery that can outlive the Sun.

Even nuclear power rods lose radiation after 100k years; the sun is BILLIONS of years old---and expects an equal number of years to live.
