Question:

Is it possible to cross the U.S.A border from Canada without a canadian passport, PR card, or a visa??

I have a friend who wants to cross the U.S.A border but he doesn't have a Canadian passport, a visa, or a PR card, but he is a permenant resident oh Canada, he also have his landing papers and birth certificate, will the landing paper work for crossing the border?? plzzzz help!!!!! >.<

  1. Currently the US requires everyone to carry a passport when entering the US by air. At the border crossing if you are crossing by car or water your only required to present a passport or approved documents, so your friend might be okay by presenting what they have. But by june 2009, anyone entering the US needs a passport


  2. If he LEAVES Canada without his PR card...he may not get back in. He needs to get a replacement card asap.
