Is it possible to cross the border from italy to switzerland with a pet in the car?

would they check? or do the pets need some type of medical document proving certain vaccines or something?

  1. i drove from Switzerland to France and they so would not have noticed if a little pet was say.. under a blanket for a few seconds while passing through those gate things but thats deceitful i guess... so yeah let them know i suppose


  2. Yes it is possible. You do not need a health certificate or a permit to import a domestic rabbit to Switzerland.

  3. Yes, as long as you are an EU citizen.  If not, than you will probably have no problem, especially coming from Switzerland which has everything in common with the EU except the money (theres is worth a lot more).

  4. It's possible but you dog must have all the papers in rule. Moreover your dog has to have a microcip.

  5. Yes you need an updated vaccination card for your pet otherwise they don't let it in or you have to put him/her in a special shelter (sorry, don't know the right name in english) for 3 months.
