Is it possible to cry on command?

Question

You know how great actors, like Lorrance Oleibeeyeah, are said to be able to think of something so sad they can just start crying for real? I don't know about that. Maybe the MistBusters can test it? Not like pouring an eye dropper of water on their eye, but they actually make real rain from their eye ducts start coming out of their retinas...

It is possible and it is quite refreshing too.You can try it alone or with a friend for a few minutes and you will feel so light.Laugh heartily after that and feel the magic.

Yes, it is. I've been doing it since I was like 2 years old to get my sisters into trouble...HA! You just realy have to get into it. If you blink a lot for a couple minutes and then squeese your eyes it helps and it also help to think of very sad thoughts. The hardest part, i think, is just to get the facial expression right...because it has to look like you are actually sad. I've had cried for about fifteen minutes before but I just couldn't get my self to stop smiling...I dunno

Of course it's possible. and it isn't hard, either. It just depends on who you are. For me it is very easy. I can just think about something and begin to cry. I can get very "into" it, as well. I could easily manipulate people with this ability if I wanted to, but i think acting is a far better place to use it, don't you think?

Of course, its hard but if you practice you can do it. Just think of what would happen if your father died or if your dog died in your arms or something really sad.

I am a beginner actor. But for some reason i could always cry and sneeze on command. No looking the light, no blinking, no not blinking, and no thinking of sad things.

I can just cry whenever with real tears and everything.

I tried teaching my drama coach how to do it. lol he could'nt he usually just holds his eyes ope. but man, he was really embarassed in front of the whole class.

It's very possible to cry on demand. I know how to do it and I'm even into the acting scene...just a drama queen, LOL.
