If so, how?

And if not, why does the calorie info on the packaging always seem to tell you the calories in one sixth of the cake?

  1. no

  2. you can cut a cake into as many equal pieces as you want, you could cut it into 50 if you had a brain cell to spare.

  3. Hi,

Yes it is absolutely possible. A circle is 360 degrees. If you need six equal slices just divide 360 by 6. This gives you slices that are 60 degrees apart.

I hope this helps. Enjoy your cake!

  4. Of course you can. Cut the cake in half then cut each half into thirds.

  5. yes its possible, cut it half then the 2 halfs cut into 3rds, givin u 6 slices

  6. Yes it is possible. Cut in half then each half into thirds

  7. Cut it in half...then each half in thirds!

  8. yea, sure it is..

two halfs thats hte wasy bit then split each half into three by two cuts... vowla 6pices..

  9. yes you can

  10. Yes, as long as you cut it like a pie.

They tell you 1/6 because they don't want you to freak out and not buy it, when you see the fat/ calorie info for a normal sized slice.

    That's my theory.

  11. Yes all you need to do is cut it into sixths

  12. Yes, you can.

  13. A circle can easily be divided into 6 equal regions by a simple geometric construction.

  14. Yes it is possible. A circle is 360 degree. Divide that by six and its a whole number being 60. 60 degrees equals 1/6 of a circle.

A potractor and compus would prove this!

  15. Cut into three equal pieces, then cut pieces in half.

    Enjoy

  16. I would have thought it's pretty easy - 60 degrees per slice off the top of my head.

  17. Of course it is.... a circle is cemetrical in infinite ways, therefore u have to be able to.... cut it in half then cut the halfs into thirds, i mean u may need a ruler tho

  18. it is all PR and advertising.

they let you eat, drink, cut, slice, serve, diveide  things into impossible sizes and shapes, so yo ucan not compare, the information makes little sense and has nothing to do with the real food/calorie/ enery intake that you need, don't need, should not do...

  19. Yep, just cut the cake in half and then cut each half into thirds.

  20. of course you cut into 6 equal pieces but its harder then eight as you have to guess to cut it into thirds exactly and then each third in half again. Each piece might be slightly more or less than 1/6th.
