Is it possible to cut the sleeves off of this sweater cardigan without ruining it?

i bought this recently and wanted to know if i could cut the sleeves off of it without messing it up.

the material is stretchy soft and thick-ish

16% nylon

you would have to cut off about an 1inch longer than you wanted the sleeves to be and then sew/hem them.

No! If you try to cut something knit, the whole thing will start unravelling.
