Is it possible to cycle the Millau bridge?

You aren't allowed to walk on it either, but if you take the D992 towards St-Rome-de-Cernon from Millau, you can get some really spectacular views of it from below.

I visited it a couple of years ago, it's really an impressive feat of engineering. Designed by a Brit too! ;-)

No, it is not.

The Millau bridge is spanned by a highway (autoroute) and bicycles are not allowed on them.

Sorry, I do not think so.   It is described as a vehicular road bridge.  I think that would mean no cycles.

If it ever becomes possible - count me in.
