Is it possible to delete facebook accounts?

i made one and i hate it now and i made another one already and so i want to delete the old one... is that possible??? HOW?? Lol

To deactivate your account (you can reactivate it later by just logging in): https://register.facebook.com/deactivate...

To permanently delete your account: http://www.new.facebook.com/help/contact...

This action is non-reversible (ie. everything is permanently gone).

You click 'my account' in the top right corner and the last option will be 'deactivate account'. Click that and your done with facebook! :)

yes,  go to account settings in the top right and at the bottom of that screen you can deactivate your account
