Is it possible to dissociate to another location?

I've heard that usually when people dissociate, they watch themselves as though they are outside of their body.

When I was abused as a child I would go to a different location in my mind and not be aware of what was going on in the "real world" at all. Was this dissociation or something else?

  1. http://www.iands.org and

http://www.nderf.org offer convincing case histories of this ability, sometimes termed "bilocation."

"The Path of the Higher Self" and "The Masters and Their Retreats," Mark Prophet, offer a good deal of personal testimony and insight as to this.

  2. Go to Sylvia Browne's web site.  SHE is the one with all the answers, and she is a legitimate psychic.  You have the ability to leave your body, and can probably do it at will.  You will LOVE to hear what Sylvia has to say about this!  www.sylvia.org

  3. Yes, I have done this, its a survival skill you learn.

  4. I am not sure personally, but I know for a fact, Dr. Sam Becket thinks so. Don't forget his buddy Al, either. He does, too.
