Is it possible to domesticate a bobcat?

  1. I don't think so. Animals are genetically wired a certain way and it takes many generations to breed out/tame those instincts. Chances are you would get hurt fairly badly if you tried this.


  2. Possibly, if you get it as a baby kitten.  However, I read an article once about someone who adopted one as a baby only to have it revert to type and become dangerous as it grew up

    "Me," a bobcat is a wildcat.  It looks very much like a domesticated cat, but slightly bigger and with a short ("bobbed") tail..

  3. ummm.. no. And if i were u i wouldn't try to domesticate bobcats, or any other large cats.... and bears (they are scary)...

    Unless, you want to be eaten... then go ahead.
