Question:

Is it possible to download VirginMedia Broadband drivers?

I lost my CD disc from NTL as I upgraded my PC to Vista, now I have XP and Vista installed and I like to have the Internet installed on XP. I don't need the driver for Vista as it recognises the driver.

I looked at Virgin Media as this company took over from NTL but I can't find anything. I don't fancy calling a premium number to get help.

Is there a torrent or something?

Thanks for everyone who helps.

  1. There is a cable Broadband help tool that you can download from the link below.  See if this is all you need to get connected in XP.

  2. All you have to do is phone Virgin and they will send you another one free of charge. And you don't have to phone a premium number.

If you have a Virgin phone call 150, if not 0845 454 1111

  3. Windows XP finds the drivers for you ethernet card & if you are with Virgin you do not need the disk any more if you want to use PC Guard the free security prog. You do it over the net with your account number & details. I don't use thier PC Guard even though it's included free. You don't have to download anything from Virgin to run the computer on the internet.

Only the first time you used the Virgin Modem did you need the disk to set up. I don't run any Virgin software. The modem registers with Virgin everytime you turn the computer on.

If you want PC Guard just go to the customer zone and click internet security & download PC Guard & follow the instructions.

The helpline is now free if you have a Virgin Landline. Just call 150
