  1. 1.  Yes, it is no problem to drive from Berlin to Munich.  Distance about 600 km (400 miles) and should take around 6-7 hours.

    2.  Yes, international licenses are accepted.  You can drive with a US too.

    3.  Right hand traffic

    4.  Safe?  Yes and no.  The is technically no speed limit on the autobahn (german for highway) and you must be careful.  The signs are different and there are a few things to watch out for.  If you want more info to these rules, contact me and I'll try to help.

  2. yes i can drive in germany

  3. Here are your driving directions from Via Michelin - 5½ hours driving time: http://tinyurl.com/n76su but take it easy!  :-)

  4. Sure you can. It takes from 7-9 hours if you make many stops. Germany accepts the International drivers lic. Just make sure that you have the proper insurance for the vehicle you will use. As far a right hand - this is correct. On the autobann to Munich, it's a 6 lane road going down and 6 lanes coming up. The extreme right lanes are for the slower traffic. The extreme left hand lanes are for high speed driving. Beware that the roads in Germany are built different than in the states. They lean a bit to the right side in order for the rain to drain. As for speed limits... go as fast as your skills will allow. If your are not used to driving at 120 mph for long periods of time, use the slower lanes. Otherwise your can be hit from the rear and a accident on the autobann at those speeds will result in 40-70 cars pileups.
