  1. Yeah it's possible. They sell dye at any fabric or craft stores.

  2. What fiber is it made of? It is very easy to dye white cotton jersey or white silk jersey, but it's a pain to dye polyester jersey, and you simply cannot dye a polyester/spandex blend.

The key in fabric dyeing is to choose the right dye for your fiber. Cotton dyes best with cool water fiber reactive dyes (not Rit!), and silk can be dyed with fiber reactive dyes or acid dyes; polyester must be boiled with disperse dyes, but spandex must not be subjected to high heat.

Even if your dress is made of an easily dye material, though, it is almost certainly sewn together with polyester thread. Since polyester thread cannot be dyed with any dye that works on cotton, silk, rayon, or other natural fibers, the stitching will stay white. This works fine for some styles, but completely ruins the effect of others.

It is very difficult to find a good clothing dyer these days. In general, it is best to contact one of the custom dyers in the second link below; you should examine their websites, agree on a price by email, and then mail your dress to them.
