Is it possible to enter the police academy without a selective service number.?

my brother is 30 years old and they are asking him for his selective service number but the problem is that he never inrolled for it and he cant in roll in it anymore because he is to old is there any way around this. please help you guys.

So, he broke a federal law by not registering with selective service but he wants to be a cop? For some reason I think he should find a different line of work...

Just filled out pre-backgound form and that question is on the sheet.

Did you fail to register with selective services?

Don't know if it will disqualify you?
