Very difficult or impossible to even guesstimate, I reckon. Lots of Seffricans who can/do speak Afrikaans, don't necessarily classify themselves as "Afrikaans-speaking".

I don't think so, but I guesstimate that about 60% of South Africans in SA actually speak the language, and about another 10% around the world know how, though they don't use it unless they want to say something that nobody else will understand.  I met quite a few South Africans in Toronto, and not one of them spoke Afrikaans to me, although my Afrikaans is quite rough after 8 years of not speaking it at all.  They did all say "Howzit" though.  Touching.

I don't think it's possible to get that stats, unless someone interviews every single person on earth. But if it will help, I count as 1.  :)

Add: As JK said, many don't classify themselves as Afrikaans-speaking. If asked I usually say bilingual, as we speak both in my family.
