Typically, 'no' .. however some places will give 'change' (eg. you have a £10 Gift Card and purchase something for eg. £6 .. some places will then give you the £4 change).

You can also 'sell on' most cards - but are unlikely to get 'face value'  - to get some idea of what your Gift Card is worth, check Completed Auctions on eBay.

doubt it.  do you know anyone that shops at the place you have the gift card for??  If so, maybe they will buy it from you.  I just bought one from my sister.

No, for most you can't. Try selling it on eBay - you should be able to sell it for almost the value of the card.

it depends wat company the gift card is from. sometimes it will say on the back of the card "exchangeable for cash" or "not exchangeable for cash". otherwise you have 2 go 2 the store/business and ask them yourself.
