Is it possible to find decent affordable accommodation in menorca upon arrival?

i got a good deal on the flight but can't seem to find any reasonably priced accommodation at the moment.i don't want a resort. preferably i am looking to find a room rented out by local families. has naybody tried this before. any suggestions welcome
