Ok..well i have had experience with 2 religions in my life.

My mum is Muslim and my Dad is a Christian! I respect and understand certain parts of both religions e.g. the fact that Muslims believe that there is ONE God...who has only ONE form and how they pray bowing down FULLY with their whole body towards the creator rather than just the head, but i also feel that Christians have a lot of good points too and i read the bible alot and i believe in Jesus and The Great Tribulation, the 10 commandmants... I'm confused really...can anyone help?

  1. You can believe in as many as you choose to..But following them all will prove difficult I imagine.

  2. I have the same background. And let me tell you, the similarities are striking. Why? Well, Islam came 500 or so years after, so the morals of the current society where similar. Now, Islam is a bit more hardcore in it's preaching, pray for 7 times a day, don't drink, don't eat ham, don't have s*x unless you will marry him/her, don't date of other religion blah blah blah.

I've come to realise after carefully studying both - because it seems not enough religios people read the bloody books, that religion is a bunch of bullshit. It's a man made lie - it's the biggest lie of all time. Just think about it - we have been convinved that theres this thing , this large ball of light that looks down on us, and does nothing to stop destruction, killings, rape , torture, pedophilia - yet it loves us. Oh but if you don't believe it - it still loves you - only you will spend an eternity in h**l - burning in flames.

The point is, anyone can live a prposerous, healthy, joyous life FREE of religion and religious dogma. Free of racism, sexism and other -isms that come attached with religion. Or if you really wish to pray to god - pray to Sun -- it gives you light each morning, it does not judge and YOU CAN SEE it -- it really exists.

Be a free thinker and live life

  3. They contradict each other.Muslims have another "Jesus" and they deny the Bible.

  4. There is very little difference between Islam and Christianity although they both claim to be the only way to God.

  5. I don't think that it is possible to follow two religions, I believe that you can understand more than one religion but I feel that to follow a religion you need to be committed to it and it become part of your life.

    Hope this helps xxxx

  6. You can't be both.

  7. You can only serve one.

  8. answer: if you believe in Jesus as the Messiah and savior, then you are Christian.  As you know, Muslims only consider him a prophet and not a savior.  Perhaps a form of very traditional Christianity is where you're being pulled - one with modest dress and prayer?

    Just a thought and suggestion.

  9. We worship God.

Ultimately there is only one source; the Creator.

If you worship God with all your heart then in my experience we are welcome in any place of Love.

Someone has talked about serving; if we are serving humanity then that is what God wants. Jesus teaches us to serve where ever their is a need. I do not think he means a church or a particular religion or group.

We limit God if we exclude anything.

So I believe it is possible to worship anywhere as long as we have one focus God.

imo God has many names but is One.

  10. It is possible to make your own custom religion as you see fit.  They do not have to be internally consistent as most religions are not.

    Have fun.

  11. Well, I don't think those two can be worshiped together...I think you need to follow the one that speaks to you. Learn more and more until you can make a choice that will suit you.

  12. "A servant cannot have two masters." You're going to have to decide.

  13. Hey, as long as you believe in God, the God above all God's who created heaven and earth, and as long as your saved and live your life as a Christian would...it's all good.

  14. Ultimately it is a choice.
