i am 16 currently studying in singapore. I was wondering if i could ever play volleyball competitively.

1. I wanted to join volleyball in my college but they didn't accept non-experience players so i continued with my netball.

2. intending to further my studies in japan. Will they accept a foreign player in their club and to represent them in competitions??

  1. so im guessing youve never played before, so i would say you should start out by learning first, but its not easy to just learn over night. It takes years upon years to perfect. I understand why they didnt take you, because once it gets to college level it gets pretty tough. I play every day from 8 a.m to 2:30 pm. Hard work, but its worth it. If you want to play go for it! they should except you, but if you dont get accpeted then you should learn somewhere else first. Summing up my point, learn then play. you can do it!

  2. If you have a good skill level I can't see why not. A lot of Americans play abroad. If all based on performance. If your not that good. Look into clinics and clubs, You should be able to pick up a team with your skill level.
