Is it possible to freeze white bush squash & if so, are there special instructions?

I am over-run with squash this year and I have already pickled 75 quarts. I do not like it canned (it gets too mushy) so I was wanting to know if I could freeze it? I freeze zuchinni that is shredded for bread but was not sure about squash. Also, any recipes to use up all the extra would be an added help! Thanks!

I cook mine then freeze to make it easier to throw it together in a hurry.
