  1. I would go with a brand named VIZIO they make a good amount of quality TV for an awesome price. You will find even some Vizio's well inder $500 at 32" but thier resolution is only 720p

If you were to raise your price range a little higher maybe up to $800-$1000 you can buy high quality Samsung, Sony, LG and SHarp LCd HDTV's in that price range.

They deliver high contrast ratio and durability at a affordable price for what TV your getting

well with you price range go with Vizio, but if you can raise itt up go with the brands Sony, Samsung, :LG or sharp for 32" screens!

    good luck on your choice!

  2. Hi,

I found 2 brands - Vizio and Protron. The price $450-500.

They both have almost the same characteristics, but I would buy Vizio, cause my sister bought this LCD TV 2,5 years ago and it is still working pretty good. She highly recommends it.

Go to this link, there are several TVs that fit your budget:

By the way, it is cheaper to buy online. All my stuff I buy online only :)

    Good luck!

  3. NO, NO, NO, it is NOT possible today to get a new 32" LCD 1080p HDTV of good quality for $500! And you do NOT need 1080p for a screen size under about 46". It's a waste of $$$.

No one here can tell you what to pay for a TV! We don't have a clue what your realistic budget is, nor is "budget" really a question for this forum, TV Electronics. LOL But if you are smart, you will look at quality brands, only.

For 32" and 26", I'd rank the best of them, in both performance and reliability, as Panasonic, Sony, Toshiba, Sharp, Samsung, and LG. Stay away from the cheap c**p, like Vizio, Olevia, Insignia, Element, Dynex, and Polaroid! http://www.hdguru.com/your-new-disposabl...

  4. With this price budget, you can get a fine performer with the likes of samsung, which make the best for value flat tv's at the moment.

If you slightly increase your budget range to $800 or $1000, there will be a more broader range of different tv sets available.

Sony make an excellent value 32 inch lcd tv with the best picture performance on lcd tv to date and has other amazing features besides.

oppo make excellent dvd players that you can connect to via a cable called hdmi, which is the new mainstream hdtv connection. They are very well priced too, with sets below $400.

cnet.com has excellent buying guides and very good price comparisons, helping buyers to get the best tv sets in particular price ranges.

    I hope this info helps
