Is it possible to get a VIRUS even if you have a good internet security program???

Of course yes. Virus doesn't only come from the internet. It can also come from the files that you download and in USB's, CD's and other storage devices.

Well yeah since Norton sucks. I'm not saying the company is bad or anything but norton is too popular and all the malware is programmed to avoid norton. I suggest you download these antivirus and antispyware which is free.

Personal Review: Very good detection rates. Sometimes I can find a false positive from time to time but that's not much of a problem. Also if you get the free version it has the annoying habait of giving a popup about paying for the software maybe two times a day. It is very good to avoid disrupting what you were doing so I give this a rating of 9/10

Great program! One of my favorites for detecting and removing spyware. A must have and it's freeware. There isn't even a paid version but there is a donate option. It has the option to Immunize your browsers and recovery system if you wanted to undo the removal.

Malwarebytes Antimalware Free Edition

It's probably my favorite anti malware program. Good detection rates. Only used for scanning if you have the free version but great no the less.

Detects for rogue software such has winfixer or spysheriff and deletes it. Just to let you know if you see a popup of rogue software suggesting you have "viruses" You should immedility disconnect your internet(to be on the safe side) and press ALT F4. Also please PLEASE don't click on either X,ok, or cancel because it will install anyway.

It does sound like rogue software which is kinda annoying but trust me it's safe.

Yes if you don't do use the scan often or if you don't have it updated often. You can also get spy ware unless your antivirus protects you against that too. You should update windows defender and run a full scan regularly as well. I recommend you also get McAfee siteadvisor program to keep you from unwanted or harmful sites.SiteAdvisor is free.Here's the link:

Even with a GOOD security system it is possible. The more often the detection protocols are updated the harder it is to slip something past. Take Kaspersky for example theirs updates every 1-3 hrs. By The Way. I thought you had a GOOD program. Google for Norton Problems and Complaints. Then find something that will actually protect you. Better yet. Scan your system with Kasperskys FREE internet scanner and see all the things that Norton has missed. Hope you dont bank online!

u call norton internet security i call it an invitation for disaster but yes no security program completely because every second a new virus is being made and it takes time to fix it send send the fix to u and me
