  2. That depends on what your major was and what sort of career in enviro sci you are going for.

  3. What really matters is the depth of your science background.  If your transcript shows a good foundation in Chemistry, Biology, and probably some Physics, with some applied environmental courses, you have a case for being qualified for more scientific/technical jobs.

    If you don't have that science background, then your best opportunities are going to be with whatever your primary major is with the added asset that you have an environmental emphasis.  For example, if your primary major was something like journalism, you probably aren't qualified for an environmental scientist position, but would be very well qualified for a job writing about environmental issues.

  4. Yes but it doesn't garuntee that you will be an environmental scientist. For example, I am majoring in economics but I plan on minoring in ES. I would like to be consultant for firms that work towards saving ecosystems.

    Perhaps should find ways that you think the field could use someone with your particular degree.
