  1. Someone has not fully explained this to you.The HAVC test you are referring to is for type 1. You can take this on the Internet from Mainstream Engineering. That is an open book test for type 1. This is for small appliances such as refrigerators. To work on central air you need type 2 for chillers you need type 3.You can get a universal certification and service all these. The type 2 and 3 are a proctored test given under supervision.Mainstream Engineering and ESCO are the two testing sources that I know of.Most cities have a John-stone Supply and they have the study guide, around ten dollars.I'm not sure everyone is asked the same questions the study guide the other answer suggested, has all the possiable questions and you will be asked a selection of them.So there is no simple answer sheet.

  2. I hope I don't get affected by your employment!

  3. I am going to school right now for HVAC. I will be certified next month. I do have a study book just nothing with the answers. If you would like I can scan and email them to you. Let me know my email is askydiver1976@yahoo.com
