Is it possible to get a false negative blood test ?

I had s*x unprotected on july 4th 10 days later i had a blood test done to find out if i was pregnant it said i wasnt .. i got something like a period around when my period was supposed to come.. i had some tiny blood clots and weird brown blood.n it only lasted for 3 days n was very light.. im just wondering if its possible that i took the blood test too early...also i have been having way more than normal clear discharge n its very thin like water

I would have to say most likely not pg.  but could still be a possibility.  I would wait till next cycle.  Only time will tell. If your still not sure, go to the doc.

A blood test should give an accurate result 7 days after possible conception, so it's very likely that the test was right.
