  1. You can get another land line installed, but it will be pricey and another line rental expense. Maybe the best option is to get broadband installed, there are quite a few packages available about £10 a month mark, they would be a separate bill for these and not on the phone bill.

That way, your son can use the internet, but you can still use your phone for calls. For his calls, maybe a pay as you go mobile would be an option?

  2. HI yes you can get another line in your home just contact you

network our he can get a 3 modem that works on ready to go

then you can get the internet of your bill all together

    hope this helped

  3. Why get another line? Just get onto one of the providers like Virgin or O2 for a broadband connection. It costs about £9.99 per month for unlimited use. Then he can go onto Skype for free calls. This is so much cheaper than getting another line installed.

  4. Get BT broadband with the hub phone, you can set the hub phone for incoming calls only. He can use the internet as much as he wants as once you get broadband you don't have to worry about big bills. Also the hub phone works through the internet so calls won't cost you a fortune. This is a cheaper option than getting a second line. But if you want a second line to do all of this it can be done, just call BT on 150 and an engineer will install the line where you want the socket.
